Worship

Worship is the time that you give to the Lord to announce to Him of how glad you are that He is shaping your life and also for God to review your growth and give you instructions. Literally it’s the time that you fall on your knees to pray, sing praises of worship, meditate on his word, and serve others.

If we were to live in total and complete purposes of our lives we would then be all worshipping at all times. The hum in your mouth, the music in your car, the background music in your office and your profession will all be proclaiming of how good He who created you IS.

Whenever we read in the Word of God of those who were given privy of how heaven will be they all depict in heaven there’s a throne and thousands of saints are worshiping and praising God.  The idea of God is  thus for all of His creation to serve Him the same way the whole idea for creating a car is for it to serve humankind and when it finally fails, we destroy it.  Not to know God and even failing to serve Him is calling for destruction, we humans call it death.

The fullness of God is and can only be enjoyed by operating in His presence and in His will. Men and women who do this are always bright, always smiling, always humming, content,  without worry, confident, understanding,  respectful, humble, non-judgmental, just full of virtue.

If you are without virtue in some areas of your life then there’s always work that needs to be going on within you; a striving to a particular end. That goal can only be achieved through spiritual exercise which will consist of being connected at all times to God. Your time needs to be for God and all of your other activities, a replication of His love.

There’s a common phrase in the world of acting ‘Be in character”. This tells the actors to act the part as prescribed on the script. Worship is ‘being in the character’ of God or doing things as God. The reason men were angry with Jesus is because by calling himself the son of God he was equating himself with God. The son of God is also God as the son of man is man, for the son of anything is itself.

John 5:8  For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

Jesus was in the character of God all throughout his life. He was showing us that man is supposed to emulate God in all things.

Most of us are only in the 'character of God' or in worship very little times and therefore we are always missing out on the presence of God in all those times that we are tuned out. We should always engage in worship so as to always portray God. The very act is an act done by giving our time, our strength and our mind to Him.

Worship is a thus the giving back of God’s love. It comes with lesser baggage. Worries and concerns, complaints and discontentment are just but history.

By the Way : Ultimately the universe is infinite because of the simple reason that there’s life eternal. Think about it.
